Service Wire SW-PVC-TRAY-CIRCUIT, sold as Tray Cable (PVC-Circuit), is a dual-rated 600/1,000V multi-conductor circuit tray cable built with Class B stranded copper conductors insulated in XHHW-2/RW90 crosslinked polyethylene and jacketed in black PVC. It is manufactured to UL 1277 and CSA C22.2 #230 and #239. This cable is intended for electricians wiring control circuits rather than power feeders, and is offered in configurations from 2 up to 37 conductors, including flat 2-conductor builds for tight tray space. It is rated for use in industrial cable trays and Class I/II Division 2 hazardous locations, and also carries a direct burial rating. Exposed installation outside of tray is permitted when the run is specified with a separate ground conductor. Optional K-1 solid color coding is available on the conductors, which helps a contractor keep multi-circuit control wiring organized during termination.
