The Intermatic EH10 is a 7-Day Electronic Water Heater Time Switch wired for 120 volt service. With a 7 day program, the EH10 lets an electrician or homeowner set a different water heater schedule for each day of the week, so the heater can be run only during hours when hot water is actually needed rather than continuously. This is used specifically for water heater control, in place of the mechanical time switches also offered in Intermatic's time switch line.
